Ahram Jeong is an interdisciplinary artist currently living and working in Seoul, South Korea. Jeong explores the possibility of the individual as a cultural producer and attempts to create works that are based on alternative productions and organizations of performance, participation and collaboration. Jeong received a BFA from Korea National University of Arts. In 2010, Jeong attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and received an MFA from Hunter College (the City University of New York). Jeong participated in artist-in-residency programs such as SeMA Nanji Residency (2021), Gyeonggi Creation Center (2016), and SOMA Summer (2012). Her recent solo exhibitions are Attention Exercise (2022) and Performance Minimum (2020) at Post Territory Ujeongguk, Seoul and Speaking For Myself (2018) at Space Willing N Dealing, Seoul. She has been featured in various group exhibitions that include This Event (2020) at Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul, and What is Contemporary Art? (2019) at Daegu Art Factory, Daegu.
