Attention Exercise: The World of Work
2022
Three digital prints, each 84.1 cm x 59.4 cm
The work traces and schematizes the movement of the eyes of the respective three riders for 10 seconds out of their work activities recorded in ‘Attention Exercise: Our Collective Eyes,’ with the texts that list descriptive systems of work and labor - 'Work Accident', 'Work Value', and 'Work Emotion.' It allows us to contemplate the present world of work and labor that encroaches our attention and simultaneously suggests that a new organization is possible by revealing the subject’s power to act in itself.
